Our Reporting
IPG recognizes the importance of transparency and is committed to reporting our ESG disclosures on an annual basis. This 2023 ESG Report is aligned with existing and newly utilized sustainability frameworks and standards, with a focus on data and initiatives from 2022.
Historical Reporting
IPG has been continuously expanding our ESG disclosures since our first report in 2015. Our historical reports and disclosures, including CDP responses, can be found on our website.
Approach to ESG Disclosure
The 2023 ESG Report was prepared in alignment with multiple reporting frameworks and initiatives including GRI, SASB, TCFD, the UN Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, IPG regularly responds to ESG-related questionnaires and surveys, including CDP, EcoVadis, Ecodesk and S&P Global’s CSA.
Reporting Boundary
The 2023 ESG Report primarily covers data and metrics related to the 2022 calendar year, unless otherwise noted. IPG also made great strides in our sustainability journey during 2023, and some of this progress is highlighted throughout the report where indicated.
External Assurance
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) performed a limited assurance engagement on certain greenhouse gas emissions and certain employee diversity metrics for the year ended or as of December 31, 2022. See PwC’s Report of Independent Accountants in the 2023 ESG Report.
